Ahmed I. Masoud, BDS, MSc, PhD

Dr. Ahmed MasoudDr. Masoud completed his orthodontic specialty training and received his Master of Science in Oral Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013.  Dr. Masoud went on to become a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2014. Dr. Masoud was a Charley Schultz scholar in the 2014 American Association of Orthodontics annual meeting. Dr.Masoud is a reviewer for several reputable orthodontic journals such as The Angle Orthodontist and Progress in Orthodontics.

Dr. Masoud is currently a clinical assistant professor at the department of orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a Neuroscience PhD candidate at the same institution. His PhD work involves the validation of different diagnostic approaches to pediatric sleep apnea including portable sleep monitors and cone beam computed tomography.
